After a working visit to the Uk, and contracting coved, it feels good to be back in Portugal. I’m still on the look out for my new home but the search has narrowed to the Sintra region – since this came to me as guidance in a shamanic journey.
Sintra is a magical, fairytale location! As you leave the hot, flat, sunny suburbs and urban beaches of Lisbon, a green misty mountain rises up mysteriously to the west. This is landscape of trees, castles and palaces that look out over the laid back coastal villages and wild surfing beaches of the Atlantic ocean in the distance. Sintra is one of those magical portals that inspired poets (like Byron) and attracted the knights templar and masons to create symbolic temples and ceremonial initiation chambers. What with this history and the wonderful sea air, relaxing on beaches and eating delicious sun-ripened fruits… what better place to set up my new healing centre and to complete my book at long last!
