Festivals
What kind of Festivals?
Festivals are wonderful opportunities to come together as community, to celebrate life and open to new experiences.
I’ve been attending festivals since the late 1980’s, when I naively arrived at the then anarchic gatherings at Stonehenge and Glastonbury with my Jack Russell Bumble, and wondered why I was ‘seeing in cartoon’ – I didnt realise that if you ate hash fudge it got you really stoned!
I used to travel the world with a back-pack and always participated in festivals wherever I could, across Asia, Australia, Africa and the Americas.
In 1994 I had my first experience of ‘holding space’, when I arrived at Burning Man festival in Nevada with no money and was allowed in for free, so long as I took care of anyone who looked like they were having difficulties or experiencing a ‘bad trip’. This became my role at parties and subsequently as a space-holder and healer at retreats too.
Holistic Festivals
Since the mid 2000’s, I’ve held space and presented holistic workshops at several festivals including:
- The Green Gathering
- Sunrise
- Into the Wild
- All About Love
- One World (Portugal)
“Sue brings her light to a festival…At One World her workshops were some of the most popular. Sue holds ceremony like a mother gathering her children. She guided our circle to reflect upon our week together – with so much dancing, singing, swimming & sharing meals. Sue creates space that we wish to return again & again.”

‘I have known Sue for over 10 years and she has helped me on my personal journey immensely. I simply cannot put into words how special this woman is to me and to literally hundreds of other people who I know well. As a healer Sue has what cannot be bought, you are either born with it or you’re not. She was. As a workshop facilitator & teacher, she is second to none and I have witnessed countless personal transformations during the many training programmes she runs. Sue is always lucid, strong, in her integrity and of course, she is a massive laugh as well. Put simply, All About Love adores her, and so do I.’
